Ear Cuff Size Guide
Our ear cuffs are made from strong and bendable stainless steel wire with 5–6 mm cultured pearls.
The wire is flexible and designed to follow the natural curve of your ear. Because of the curve, a straight piece of wire measuring 5 cm will become about 4 cm once shaped around the ear.
1. Check if this type of ear cuff will fit your ear
- Take a piece of string, thread, or wire about 5 cm long.
- Place it along the outer curve of your ear where you would like the ear cuff to sit (usually from the upper helix downward).
- Gently follow the natural curve of the ear mind that pearls takes space - and the length decreases to around 4 cm with the bend.
- If the string sits comfortably along the ear without reaching too far down or stopping too high, the size should work well.
Because the wire is flexible, you can adjust the curve for a comfortable fit.
2. How to measure your ear for an ear cuff
To estimate the correct size:
- Take a piece of string.
- Place one end at the top outer edge of your ear (helix).
- Follow the curve of the ear downward to where you would like the cuff to end.
- Mark the length with your fingers or a pen.
- Measure the string with a ruler.
This measurement gives you the ideal length for a curved ear cuff.
3. General ear size guide
These are approximate ranges:
| Ear cuff length (curved) | Ear size |
|---|---|
| 3–3.5 cm | small ear |
| 3.5–4.5 cm | medium ear |
| 4.5–5 cm | larger ear |
Our standard design (made from 5 cm wire before shaping) usually fits medium to larger ears, creating a curved length of about 4 cm when worn.
4. Important notes
- The wire is adjustable, but it should not be bent repeatedly.
- Each piece is handmade, so small variations are natural.
- If you are unsure about the fit, measuring your ear with the string method is the most reliable way.
💡 How to put the earcuff in your ear?
If you’ve never worn an ear cuff before, don’t worry—it just takes a little practice.
- Hold the earcuff with fingers on each end.
- Find the spot on your ear where the cuff will sit.
- Place one side of the cuff in front of the ear and the other behind it, around the cartilage.
- Gently squeeze the ends together, pushing them towards your ear until the cuff feels snug.
- Press the ends so they touch the ear. You might feel a bit of pressure—that’s normal and helps keep it in place.
If it doesn’t sit right the first time, remove it and adjust the shape slightly. You can also ask a friend to help.

How to take care of your earcuff?
To keep your earcuff looking its best:
- Avoid spraying it with perfume or hairspray.
- Please keep it away from salty or chlorinated water.
- Be careful when wearing hats, scarves, or turtlenecks—they can knock it loose. Always check your earcuff when changing clothes.
