About
I'm Julia, the designer and founder of Stones & Stuff in Stockholm. I create modern and playful, contemporary jewellery that highlights the beauty of natural stones, pearls, and crystals.
The story
The idea for making jewellery came in 2020, and the brand was born in 2022. It started with a simple vision: to make modern jewellery of old materials, like pearls, stones and crystals. Jewellery that is wearable and current today.
I became very much interested in the topic of reusing forgotten pearls, stones and crystals. To give them a new life and purpose. Today, most of the materials are reused, especially pearls.
All pieces are designed to be durable and to celebrate your individuality for many seasons. All jewellery is made in my home studio in Saltsjö-boo in Sweden. Read a developed and more personal story of the brand here.
My mission
I care about how I make my jewellery. I often source my materials from the second circuit, scouting them online or in second-hand stationery shops. I mix them with new stuff I buy in different sources. I love to visit local stone shops whenever I travel to find exceptional materials.
Firstly, I rescue, reuse and remake vintage materials like pearls, stones and crystals. You can give back your old unused materials and donate or sell them to me.
Secondly, I remake and repair vintage jewellery. You can revoke your vintage jewellery with me, repair it or simply improve it in a wished way, so it's modern, sturdy, somehow new and ready for new adventures with you. You can even rework the jewellery you already bought from me, to make it more personal.
I also make personal projects. If you want to make a special piece of jewellery for yourself or a loved one, you're more than welcome to contact me.
