Hi, I'm Julia — the designer and founder of Stones and Stuff Stockholm.

With a huge passion, I create modern, stylish jewellery that highlights the natural beauty of stones, pearls, and crystals.

The story

The idea for making jewellery came in 2020, along with the first necklace designs.

It all started with a simple vision: to create jewellery firstly from stones, later with crystals and pearls - hence the name - that is modern and wearable — something you’d want to wear today. 

First were necklaces, earrings and bracelets; later, I started experimenting with other stuff like earcuffs or anklets. I plan to develop the offer with different accessories, hangers, keychains, shoe accessories and so on.

Today, most of the pieces I make include reused components, and all jewellery is made in my home studio in Saltsjö-Boo, Sweden, and designed to last.

My mission

I care how I make my jewellery. That’s why I use a lot of second-circuit materials, retrieved from old, forgotten or broken materials. I'm sourcing them online, in secondhand shops, and anywhere else I can find them. I still mix those with new components I purchase. I love visiting local stone shops whenever I travel, always on the lookout for something special.

I do it to decrease the carbon footprin, reduce waste and to give old materials — especially pearls — a new chance and a new life.

Another thing is to make something personal that can stay with you for many seasons.

Special services & Custom orders

In addition to using second-circuit materials, I also offer services to help revive and rework jewellery you already own.

I remake and repair all kinds of vintage and beaded jewellery.

I get pretty creative with fixes — almost anything is possible as long as it doesn’t involve melting metal or cutting stones.

You can:

  • Shorten, prolong, or rearrange old pieces.
  • Add new elements from my collection.
  • Refresh jewellery you’ve previously bought from me.
  • Donate or sell unused or broken jewellery to me!

And if you’re looking to create a one-of-a-kind piece — for yourself or someone you care about — you can make a personal project with me and order custom jewellery.
