About
Hi, I'm Julia — I am a founder, owner and maker of all jewellery at Stones and Stuff Stockholm.
The story
The idea for making jewellery came in 2020. It all started with one picture I saw online, which provoked the idea to create jewellery — made of vintage materials, but modern, wearable — something you’d want to wear every day.
The first were necklaces made of stones. Later came earrings and bracelets; next, I started experimenting with pearls.
In the meantime, I come up with an idea to reuse the materials for making jewellery - especially pearls. That started with repairing a bracelet for my sister, which later gave me an idea for the services I invite you to.
Today, most of the pieces I make include reused components, and all jewellery is made in my home studio in Saltsjö-Boo, Sweden, and designed to last.

My mission
As I wrote, I often reuse materials retrieved from old, forgotten or broken jewellery. I do it to reduce waste and to give old materials a new chance, and a new life.
I'm sourcing them literally anywhere I can find them. Then I mix those with the new components I purchase. I love visiting local stone shops whenever I travel, always on the lookout for something special.
I use only gold-plated stainless steel, which is hypoallergenic, waterproof, very durable and recyclable.
Special services & Custom orders
If you’re looking to create a one-of-a-kind piece — for yourself or someone you care about — you can make a personal project, aka a custom order.
I also offer services to help revive and rework jewellery you already own - I remake and repair all kinds of beaded jewellery.
I get pretty creative with fixes — almost anything is possible as long as it doesn’t involve melting metal or cutting stones.
You can:
- Shorten, prolong, or rearrange old pieces.
- Add new elements from my collection.
- Refresh jewellery you’ve previously bought from me.
- Donate or sell unused or broken jewellery to me!
