Measure your wrist for a comfortable and pleasant bracelet fit.
To measure your wrist for a bracelet size, you'll need a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper and a ruler.
The best if someone can help you precisely measure your wrist size.
Follow these steps:
1. Wrap the measuring tape around your wrist.
Place the measuring tape around the wrist bone or where you'd normally wear a bracelet. Make sure it's snug but not too tight. If you're using a strip of paper, mark the point where it overlaps with a pen or pencil.
If you don't have a measuring tape home, you can use a piece of paper. Use one that is not too stiff and not too soft and one that you can draw on, to mark your measurement. Follow the same steps as you would use the measuring tape.
Don't use stretching pieces of material or snores so as not to risk improper measurement.
2. Record the Measurement:
If you're using a measuring tape, note the measurement in centimetres where the end meets the rest of the tape. If you used a strip of paper, measure the length from the end to the mark you made.
3. Determine Your Bracelet Size:
If you don't have a ruler at home to measure the piece of paper, use an online ruler.
Once you have the measurement, add extra length based on the type of fit you prefer for your bracelet:
- For a snug fit, I will add 1.5 cm to your wrist measurement.
- For a comfortable fit, I will add 2.5 cm.
- For a loose fit, I will add 3.5 cm.
Write me in the comment field, which fit you’d prefer. If you write nothing, I will add standard (2.5cm) for a comfortable fit.
4. Choose the corresponding Bracelet Size:
Compare your adjusted measurement to a bracelet sizing chart. Most charts will provide the corresponding bracelet size based on your wrist measurement.
Size of your wrist | Symbol | Bracelet measurement - Comfortable fit |
14 cm | XS | 16.5 cm |
15 cm | S | 17.5 cm |
16 cm | M | 18.5 cm |
17 cm | L | 19.5 cm |
18 cm | XL | 20.5 cm |
