The Mona Earrings are crafted from beautiful, upcycled mother-of-pearl pendants. Mother of pearl is the naturally iridescent inner layer of a shell—the same luminous material that forms pearls when the shell reacts to an irritant.
The earrings are available in two sizes:
- Small – 3.5 cm, weighing 5 g, available in silver and gold versions
- Large – 6 cm, weighing 8 g, available in gold only
“Upcycled” means that the shells come from a second life: they are carefully retrieved from existing materials and thoughtfully reused to create these special pieces just for you.
The earrings are named after Mona, the very first person to fall in love with them and take a pair home.

— Smaller earrings have a built-in latch. Bigger ones have a classic earring stud.
— All pendants are permanently attached to the hoop.
— Every hoop and all metal parts are made of stainless steel and gold-plated in the gold finish. Gold plating over stainless steel offers superior tarnish resistance, it's rust-, sweat- and water-resistant.

— There is no possibility to customise these earrings due to the lack of material.
— You can change the colour version of the small earrings (change between the gold and silver finish). Contact me for more info.
Care
Care
— You can't bathe or swim in these earrings. Please remove them and store them safely before going into the water.
— Never spray your earrings with perfume. Cover them with your hand if you spray your neck. Avoid all sorts of sprays.
